ABOUT US

Judges Concerned for Judges of Pennsylvania (JCJPA) offers free, confidential, and voluntary assistance to Pennsylvania judges and their family members facing mental health or substance use challenges.

Supporting Judges Through Compassionate Assistance

Judges Concerned for Judges of Pennsylvania (JCJPA) was founded in 2012 to address the specific mental health and wellness needs of Pennsylvania’s judiciary. Operating under the umbrella of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers of Pennsylvania (LCLPA), JCJPA offers a trusted, confidential space for judges and their families to seek help without judgement.

What sets us apart is that we’re run by lawyers, judges, and law students who understand the intense pressure and responsibility that come with the legal profession. We’ve been there and we know how overwhelming it can feel to balance your work, your life, and your well-being.

That’s why our services are built on empathy, confidentiality, and lived experience. Everything we offer is 100% free and confidential. Whether you’re seeking help for yourself or reaching out about a colleague or loved one, we’re here to listen without judgment and offer guidance towards recovery. With peer support, referrals, literature, resources, and a commitment to privacy, JCJPA offers real help when you need it most.
